Hi to all!
First – Happy Valentine's Day! Here in the beautiful state of New Jersey we had a snow storm that gave our area about 14 inches of snow. Not liking that ground hog very much right now!
However, being that it is Valentine's day, we will forgive the ground hog and think about love!
Loving yourself is just as important as having someone love you
If I love myself, won't I be conceited? Selfish?
If you want love, you have to give love.
What about love of self?
Is it selfish to love yourself? No, it is not. The reason why is that when you love yourself, you take good care of your mind, body and your outlook is much more positive.
We tell our children to like themselves, to be proud. To even love themselves. How about you? Are you setting a good example and showing how you love yourself first!

There is an old saying I love to use. It goes something like this.
"When I was a child, I acted like a child and thought like a child, now that I am an adult, I act like an adult and I put away those childish thoughts and ways. "
Falling in love with yourself does not mean you will act like you are the only person in the room that matters. Falling in love with youself means that you love the things about you. Your body, your hair, your eyes or even the way you handle yourself. Loving yourself gives you permission to be you!
With Love, all things are possible.
Finding love is not an easy thing. You have to be able to trust that person, be ready for heartache or even disappointment. Falling in love has been the best and sometimes the hardest thing I ever had to do. So is loving myself. Forgiving myself and realizing that even though I have others to help and support me, without me loving myself, I could never achieve what I have achieved. All in the name of love!
So give yourself a chance. Laugh at your mistakes, forgive your past, like who you are and if not, work on it to change!
In the end, you are the only one that you deal with. Make it happen with LOVE!
