Have you ever tried to not forget to remember something?

 

Last week I was totally mixed up with dates. I have no reason why, could just be doing too much, old age, or just tired. I will say that it is all three, and be okay with it.

 

What I had wanted to share with you for the last week of February is taking good care of yourself and respecting your need to “give yourself a break”.

 

Instead, I totally forgot to make up a video, and the newsletter and when I woke up on Saturday, thinking it is Friday, I first was angry at myself and then I had to laugh. I was tired, overworked, overbooked and my soon to be 62 year old brain was on strike!

 

When you do things like “try not to forget to remember” you confuse your mind. Every time I say this, I have to laugh. No wonder I forgot. I used so many failure words, that of course I forgot. I did my own confusion technique on myself (this is a hypnotist joke!)

 

What did I do instead? Saturday I went to a TEDx Talk, and Sunday I just chilled out.

It was exactly what I needed both mind, body and soul.

 

I had thought about being angry, that past, or beating myself up, why?

 

This is how I handled my “Try to not forget to remember. ” moment.⬇️

 

 

When life gets crazy, and you forget to do things, it is ok to give yourself

not only a day off, but to forgive yourself too!

 

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE has one of those days, weeks or even months. It is part of life and you will get back to being on time, and back on task when you are better.
